Programs
The member programs that connect travel activity to academic scholarships and community support.
Four programmes, one membership
Each programme does a different job, and each one feeds the others. Membership opens the directory; using the directory and referring others builds points; points open scholarship eligibility; partner and fundraising activity pays for the awards.
- One membership gives access to all four
- Participation is recorded, not estimated
- Nothing here is automatic — each programme has its own terms
A sensible order to take them in
None of this has to be done at once, and nothing is lost by taking it slowly.
Join and look around
Membership opens the curated travel directory. Browsing it is the fastest way to see what the organisation actually maintains.
Refer people who would use it
Eligible referrals are checked against the programme terms and recorded in your points history with the referral they came from.
Use partner offers where they suit you
Qualifying purchases at partner retailers and restaurants carry a member discount and a contribution to the programmes.
Apply when you reach a tier
A points balance opens eligibility to apply at an award level. It is not an award, and the application still has to be made.
One membership, three connected programs
Travel resources, a referral program that rewards participation, and academic scholarships funded by the activity of the community.
Curated travel directory
Members gain access to curated information from travel organizations, industry companies, equipment providers, and federal and state government agencies.
Member referral program
Members help the community grow while earning points toward travel scholarship opportunities. What makes a referral eligible is set by the program terms.
Academic scholarship program
Reaching a points tier confers eligibility to apply. Awards remain subject to program eligibility, verification, application requirements and available funding.
Join a membership that gives something back
Access curated travel resources, take part in the referral program, and help fund academic scholarships.
