Fundraising

How the travel initiatives and the academic scholarship program are funded.

Ways to support

Where the funding comes from

Every route below leads to a page on this site that explains it in full. Nothing here is a pledge drive: the programs are funded by membership, giving and partner activity together.

A one-off or regular gift to the scholarship and community programs.

Qualifying travel purchases generate support for the programs at no additional cost to the member.

Participating businesses contribute on eligible purchases and offer a member discount.

Organizations can sponsor the scholarship fund or partner with the programs directly.

Membership subscriptions fund the travel initiatives and the academic scholarship program.

Financial detail

Allocation between programs, administration and fundraising is set out in the organization’s published financial information rather than summarised here. No proportion, total or target is stated on this page.

Support our mission

Give directly, partner with the programs, or ask how your organization can help.

What it pays for

Where fundraising goes

Fundraising and membership activity together pay for the academic scholarship programme and the community initiatives that sit alongside it.

Ways to give

Four routes, all of them recorded

Whichever route a gift arrives by, it is recorded against the programme it supports.

Given directly, at any amount, through the donations page.

A contribution generated by qualifying travel bookings made through the programme.

A contribution on qualifying purchases at retailers and restaurants in the programme.

Organisations supporting the scholarship fund directly, through a partnership.

Before you give

What a giver should know

Is a donation tax-deductible?

That depends on the organisation's status and on where you pay tax. Ask the team before giving if the answer would change your decision, rather than assuming either way from a web page.

The donation and refund policy sets out the position and how to ask. It is linked in the footer of every page.

Not unless you are asked and agree. No giver is named anywhere on this site without their consent.

Giving and points are separate. Points come from the participation the referral programme defines, and a donation is not a route to scholarship eligibility.
