What a partner gets
- A listing in the travel directory members search
- Participation in the member offer program
- Association with the academic scholarship program
- A direct route to members planning travel
How businesses, sponsors and community organizations work with SDI Travel Trust.
Each route below is a program that already exists on this site. Which one fits depends on what your organization does.
Contribute on eligible member purchases and offer a member discount. The contribution amounts, minimum purchase values and discount are set out in the program.
Travel businesses, agencies and service providers can be listed in the directory members use to find them.
Organizations can sponsor the academic scholarship program. Awards remain decided by the review under the program terms.
Community organizations and institutions can work with the programs directly.
Which businesses can take part, and on what basis, is set out in the partnership terms rather than summarised here, so that the terms remain the single authority and cannot be contradicted by a page.
Participating businesses contribute $25 or $50 on a qualifying purchase, against minimum purchase values of $50 or $75. Which applies is set in the partnership agreement.
A directory listing is reviewed before it is published, and a partner is responsible for keeping their details accurate. Members rely on the directory to plan travel, and a listing that is out of date costs them a trip rather than a click.
Sponsoring the scholarship fund does not give a sponsor any part in deciding awards, and no award can be directed to a named applicant. The review is governed by the program terms, and keeping it independent of its funding is the point.
Partnerships start with a conversation rather than a form: which route fits depends on what your organization does, and the terms differ between them. Tell the team what you have in mind and they will set out what is involved.
Partnerships begin with a conversation rather than a form, because which route fits depends on what your organisation does and the terms differ between them.
What your organisation does, and which of the routes looks closest to it. The team will say what is involved in that one.
Each route has its own: what is offered to members, what is contributed, and how either is recorded.
A directory listing is published, or an offer is made available to members, and activity against it is recorded from that point.
That depends on the route, and the team will tell you before anything is agreed. Nothing on this site should be read as a price list.
It differs by route — a directory listing asks for accurate information kept current; a member offer asks for the offer to be honoured. The terms are agreed in writing before anything goes live.
Yes, on the terms agreed at the start. A listing is removed and any member offer stops being advertised.
Only as agreed. No organisation is listed as a partner or a sponsor on this site before that is settled.
