Questions

Common questions about points, tiers, awards and the review process.

Questions

Before you apply

Does reaching a points tier guarantee a scholarship?

No. Reaching a tier confers eligibility to apply at that award level. Whether an award is made, and at what amount, is decided by the review under the program terms and depends on available funding.

10 eligible referrals reach 300 points, at 30 points each. What makes a referral eligible is set by the referral program rules.

Yes. If a referral is later cancelled, refunded or found not to meet the terms, the points credited for it can be adjusted or reversed. Your balance is assessed at the point an application is reviewed, not at the point the tier was first reached.

Application windows and any deadlines are set out in the scholarship terms. They are not published on this page so that the terms remain the single authority.

Review timelines are set out in the scholarship terms and communicated when an application is made.

Whether repeat applications are accepted, and on what basis, is set out in the scholarship terms.

Information supplied in support of an application is treated as confidential and used only for assessing that application. The privacy policy, linked in the footer, sets out how member information is handled.

Scholarships are subject to program eligibility, verification, application requirements, available funding, and official terms and conditions.

Membership opens the referral program, which is how points toward scholarship eligibility are earned.

The pathway

The other three pages

Each stage has a page of its own, and each is kept current independently of this one.

What a points balance opens, and what else is assessed alongside it.

What an application asks for, and what happens after it is submitted.

Accounts published with the consent of the people in them.

If it is still not clear

Ask before the round, not after it

An application round has dates, and a question answered after one closes is answered too late. The team would rather hear from you early.
