Recipient stories
Accounts from members who have received an award, published with their consent.
Stories from members who have received an award
Published with the recipient’s consent. Nothing on this page is a composite, an illustration or an example.
No recipient stories have been published yet
Stories appear here once a recipient has agreed to share theirs. Until then this page stays empty rather than showing an example — a scholarship recipient is a real person, and an illustrated one would misrepresent what the program has done.
If you have received an award
Recipients are never required to share their story, and an award does not depend on doing so. Stories are published only with written consent, and a recipient can ask for theirs to be removed at any time.
Scholarships are subject to program eligibility, verification, application requirements, available funding, and official terms and conditions.
Start building toward a scholarship
Membership opens the referral program, which is how points toward scholarship eligibility are earned.
Why there may be fewer stories than you expect
Every account published here is published because the person in it agreed to it, in writing, for this purpose. Nobody is written up because it would make the page look fuller, and consent can be withdrawn.
- No account appears without the recipient's written consent
- No photograph of a recipient is used without it either
- Consent can be withdrawn and the account is removed
